Ahh, yes, so's mine. My hot date for tonight?? A courgette that I have to put in the steamer. And no, that's not a euphemism.

Oh my. What a euphemism that might have been!
I had to google courgette since I didn't know what that was. It appears that is what we call a Zucchini in non-British English. I've never cared too much for cooked zucchini, but my mom used to make a zucchini bread that tasted just wonderful. Would this translate into Courgette bread in British English?

MP, the only reason your posting in here is because we haven't built the "better mouse trap" to keep you out yet.

Moral number one is that I ain't be typing English as well as my edumacashun mite indicate since that should have been "Maybe we'll learn a thing or two". And sadly moral number two is "you might as well eat your store bought kitty vittles, because you're never going to catch the mouse".

I suppose that this would belong in the Prog Chef thread (does that still exist?) I found a recipe for Zucchini (Courgette) bread. My doctor would diagree, but you have got to love a recipe that end with "slather with butter and eat".
We'll have to get that on the menu over at the Shred Room Psychedelicatessen.

Mmm, sounds nice! In The Shed they seem to prefer Lardy Cake. Zucchini Bread sounds much healthier... no furred arteries for us!

You can never keep me out! I defy space and time! |
I did wonder how you manage to pop up everywhere at once... I thought perhaps there were two of you!
|
It appears that MP might be the space dude from Inside the Electric Castle:
"Welcome! You have entered the cranial vistas of psychogenesis. This is the place of no-time and no-space. Do not be afraid for I am merely the vocal manifestation of your eternal dreams. "
