Oh no, that's awful news.
About having to eat the beetroot crisps for lunch, I mean.
Seriously, glad to hear you're okay Rach. Unfortunately you've discovered the reason why I don't ride a motorbike or cycle to work. I know too many people who have been injured on bikes.

sorry to hear about your spill, Rachel
...but at least you landed somewhere soft - i had one or two encounters with cars / vans in my biking days (very short episode, as i found a car -even a humble Moggie- was the better wooing and winning accessory than the ol' 2 wheeler, and i didn't get drunken skinheads verbally assaulting me at traffic lights any more - there.....i was a fraud, real bikers ignored traffic lights a la Ace Cafe) and still proudly bear the scarred knees to prove it, and the odd mashed bone in foot ...did your crisps get crushed?
pleased your back on
...silly question....
i just listened to the track on their website and answered my own question - very nice indeed, i may even become a Pendie one day
do they do it in vinyl...?

@Rachel: glad your ok - not a great start for the weekend. I did post a bulletin on MySpace though - as Jared advised it can never hurt to have ProgArchives promote a band to it's 464 MySpace friends. Maybe that helps you a bit
@Dean: is that a genuine red tree shed? @Jim, Lee: Pallas, coasters, Callas, posters? I wonder where the 'a' went... |

...it's a genuine house, not sure whether it's got a shed or not ...it's the famous (well famous in Suffolk anyway) House in the Clouds (http://www.houseintheclouds.co.uk/) ... for some reason someone decided to build a house on top of a water tower.

I have a weekend of contrasts before me...
tomorrow evening, I will be going up to St Mary's Church in Kington, to hear our local choir make a joyful noise (God bless 'em) as they maltreat Mendelssohn's Elijah...possibly irreparably...
then on Sunday, I shall meet up again with our newest member of the PMT, to see The Reasoning at Bilston (who aren't Prog Metal or Heavy Prog...)
anyway good folks...for those of you heading off for your respective (as opposed to respectible) weekend's exertions...I bid you all a good one...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Oh, you're Steve Trowbridge! I'll add you, you can go with Jamie Trowbridge. Now I just need to find Jamie's brother John and I'll have three Trowbridges on my Facebook. |

Oh and Rach, many sympathies. My father came off his motorcycle back in the late 1960s and even though he had a helmet on, he still hurt his head. I'm not the biggest fan of two-wheels really. However, you're a very brave soul for riding one!
And luckily for me I was not in the Purton area today, otherwise I'd have seen something I shouldn't have! Edited by James - October 17 2008 at 14:39 |
