Got that one with my new load. Not 100% familiar with it yet, but I was *much* fonder of Babaji and Fool's Overture than the first however many songs, which mostly sounded to me like a low grade rehashing of bits of Crime. As I said, not fully used to it yet, but I did like those two tracks I mentioned a bit earlier a lot. |

My first impressions were exactly like that, with Babaji and Fool's Overture being awesome. But gradually I've started liking the other songs as well. They're good as what they are. I'd say it's one of those "3.5 stars really!" albums Edited by LinusW - October 17 2008 at 09:37 |

The Stranglers: Black and white
After reading all tthose posts about the ''prog'' credentials of this band, i am just giving a listen and i can tell you that>...................BS!!! there is nothing , absolutely nothing remotely prog with this band.....Not bad. but not prog.
Next addition to prog archives maybe : Creedence Clearwater Revival and New Kids On The Block

A definite no from me for CCR and NKOTB. And I bet people think that I wouldn't turn any group away from PA. I have never heard a Stranglers song in my life, so no judgement there and thus staying completely out of that argument.
