Topic: Prog Photoshop (but MS Paint is better) Posted: February 28 2008 at 19:49 |
Hello friends (except Man With Hat--he knows why), Recently, the forum banter has become rather....how do you say....worthy of having a few people smacked upside the head. But no more! I present mine kinsmen with a Very Happy Fun Thread!!! (Sea Green is an excellent color, no? No? Well, let's try another.....) I present mine kinsmen with a Very Happy Fun Thread!!! As we all know, progressive rock and MS Paint go together like Pluto and the Solar System. Therefore here shall be the place where we post pictures of Prog + Something = Funny. or so I hope. Proggers can be a serious bunch. Oh, and use Photoshop if you want. (if you want the program to do it all for you, that is....)
So, I will start.....
The ball is in your court, forum.

That was his original album art for Tubular Bells. Changing the title to Ommadawn was a clever photoshop indeed, lappy.

This was the original idea for the cover of Spock's Beard's Snow. I think they shouldn't have changed it:

Thank you. And I did actually use MS paint for much of this as the new version of Corel Paint has real annoying drag, drop, cut/paste features. And of course, no Kobain's breakfast is complete w/o toast. I made the toasters a long time ago, for the prog white elephant party, but few showed up.

The long argument over Metallica being on PA could have been resolved much sooner had this ancient image been brought to light. I give you image 1 of the Progtallica series.
