James, you look more like Klaus so you're on the right. Big%20smile

Yes but is Klaus on the right on the original recording?

Yes. Big%20smile

"Deus" in Latin would be "Day-oos".  "Theusz" has the same 'neutral' '-eu' sound as French, like in 'deux'.

As previously mentioned... Kobaïan lessons... reasonable rates offered! LOL

Oh god no. Dead  I could never be a teacher really!  I'd be hopeless.

I seem to be ok at indoctrinatin' folks with odd music and made up words, but I'll give the credit for that to Vander et al. LOL

LOL  Sorry James, it seems I can be a grammar/pronunciation snob even in a made up language. Embarrassed

Anyway... it's time for me to go home now.  I might or might not resurface later.  Have a nice evening, everyone. Smile

Hmmm, the middle part of M.D,K. on Retrospektiw I-II... is that a cut or does the bass really come in like that?

It doesn't fit right with me.  Sounds like the tape ran out.

I think it's an edit, a fade out and than into the bass.  An odd choice, I'll grant you.

edit:  sort of "duh" moment here - on the original LP, it's the transition from side 1 to side 2.

^ What does that sound like Pat?  Any band references?

This room had a real Suede feel to it in my absence today.  I kind of thought I stumbled into the wrong place as I am so apt to do. LOL

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson
