There is nothing wrong with liking music that isn't prog, no matter what form it is.  There is some talent even in the worse of what passes as our culture's music today; no matter how much "production" takes place in the studio.  Pshaw, I make a horrible prog snob.

There are many who would beg to differ, but I am certainly not one of them. WinkLOL  But never forget there is also a lot of bad music that falls under the prog umbrella too.

Good morning Melissa.  That should bring Pat in for a visit pretty quickly.  He has a sense for those things.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I'm not familiar with Karnataka but they look like they would appeal to me more so than the band that for some reason I thought you were going to see Katatonia.  I guess that I got my Ka bands mixed up.  I really misread that. LOL

Yeah, if the ol' telepathy is working properly, he's probably listening to it himself. LOL

I need some October Equus.

I also need those Nazca albums from ReR to go with my Decibel discography. Big%20smile

So Melissa, how are things?  I keep forgetting this room exists!

Finished the October Equus album.

On first listen, it was quite good - nothing mind blowing, but enjoyable.  Some very nice guitar and organ work.  Right now 3.5 stars is my assessment, but it's only the first listen, mind you.

Hmm, Dahlia thought Polyglot was only "good". Cry

In my opinion it's better than that.

Speaking of Volapuk, did you notice they're playing some gigs in France this year (or is it next year)?  I didn't even know they were still performing.

Damn, now I want to see them!

I really don't even get to gigs in Philadelphia, never mind France.  Cry

I think Volapuk is very good, I need to listen to them more.
