Good idea to check Meshuggah with the coat check girl. (Yowzer, we have a coat check girl.  Oh wait that might be Pat in drag again.Wink)  Possession of Meshuggah within the Shred Room is likely to get you tazed.

Oh, okay. I'll be right back; let me go take it back to the Suede Room.

What should I get to bring here while I'm over there?

Koenjihyakkei! Big%20smile

(the coat check girl won't know what hit her!)

I've got Moth Vellum going on my headphones, so if you want to throw on some Henry Cow or Koenji now is probably a good time.

Am I allowed sneaking around here still? Wink

Question 1: have you brought some decent LPs?
Question 2: are you wearing a print dress and high heels?!

Wink LOL

Well, I would buy LPs if I had use for them. I do have a few, but my dad has loads in this house somewhere along with a record player, so I hardly ever get actual LPs. I do get CDs and MP3s though. Wink

My taste is good! And pretty diverse too, so I'm usually fine no matter who asks me the question. Tongue

As to question 2... hell no. LOL

I tend to say 'LP' and 'record' and mean it to encompass 'long player album in any format'... Embarrassed  And yes, you have eclectic taste, so I'm sure you'll come up with something palatable! Tongue

I do that with "album". I pretty much call anything that. Record maybe too, but I usually mean LP by that.

I should bring Koenji! LOL

*comes back with Angherr Shisspa and blasts it*

I'm glad that Scott has headphones and there's no one else in here who wouldn't like it blasted. Big%20smile

Calling things records, albums or LPs but meaning CDs is one of the prerequisite requirements for being a Shred Roomer.  When the Shed's denizens say records, albums or LP's they really mean that since that is what they all still listen to.  And the Suede Roomers aren't old enough to know what a record/album/LP is so they generally look at you with that deer in the headlights look when you mention those terms.Wink

I know what records are! I have a CTTE vinyl up here in my room. Big%20smile

Yeah, hehe!  When LPs are mentioned, the Sheddies all get this fond look and make oblique references to psychedelic sleeve art, and useful surfaces for dealing with... smoking materials. Wink  And the Suedies are all like "Yeah, I sold my Dad's original copy of DSOTM on ebay and bought a neat-o video game with the profits." Tongue

I guess we are the ones with three copies of everything (one in each format), buying up the vinyl that has been nicked from the Shed and sold out the back of the Suede Room... Ouch LOL

I'm a Kobaian in disguise, so I'm trying to gather as much information as I can. Wink

Wait... whoops. LOL

I'm going to have to make you sure you don't tell anyone else now. Big%20smile

Now that the allotted time for RIO has expired, I will turn the stereo back over to some heavy prog/traditional metal with some Sieges Even and their new live album Playgrounds.

I know the Koenji dance.

I fear it's not the same as your Koenji dance though. Confused

Paris Hilton goes out in the first round after falling over Anton du Beke's feet after trying to actually walk... she didn't even get a chance to dance the Grembo Zavia.
