Tonight has been a very weird evening.

I managed to convince Kim to come out with me this evening and well... it was the right decision to make. Although she was rather huggy with people, I had a most interesting time with her when I got her back to hers.

Nothing happened between us but everything felt right.

The hugs.

The pecks on the lips.

The clear and starry night.

And finally... seeing a shooting star together. I've never seen one before and we both saw this one together. I was so surprised, I forgot to make a wish... kind of. But I made a late one just afterwards.

I'm a hopeless romantic but damn... it was a weird feeling I had on the drive home.

Seeing a shooting star together really made me think...

A good night kiss.

Then she didn't go, so we hugged and chatted some more.

I was sober.

We always have a goodnight kiss mate, Not full on, just a peck. If she didn't like it, she'd have said so. She was the one who did it. She never once complained.

Dude, I wouldn't do anything more, so don't worry. I honour the fact she's with a bloke.

If anything she's worse... kind of.

She's more depressed now she's with this guy, mostly due to the distance.

But this week she's been drinking a bit less. She was drunk tonight but she was manageable and happy.

I'd much rather she was drunk and happy, than drunk and depressed.

Ideally I want her to be happy and not drunk. But it's the weekend, I can let her off a bit. I want her to cut down more during the week.

She's also still barely eating.

Plus there's other problems she's having which I cannot discuss.

Oh and I'm out with her tomorrow night too. Two days in a row. Big%20smile

Oh... drunk and depressed is one of the more horrible feelings out there:(
The eating thing.... arghhhh. I mean arghhh, that just hurts to hear that mate.
This always seems to happen.. once I start feeling better about myself for once, suddenly I hear stuff about how people are having it worse.
It's almost as if there must be a consequence to me feeling better or something.. Ouch

Well three of my dearest mates (all female) have had terrible weeks.

I've had a good week yet have had to be supportive to the above three girls.

Such is life.

But I can see better times coming soon... I'm confident in that.

And I'm still thinking about that Shooting Star... does it mean anything?

Damn it... it still felt perfect.

I know it was just a small moment in my life and perhaps not in the most perfect of circumstances but the whole incident outlined above will stick in my memory. It seems poignant to me right now.

I guess only time will tell. She may not have felt the same way. In fact, I doubt she did but I can just hope, yes hope, all works out in the future.

I'm sorry... I'm just hopelessly in love and I've never felt like this before. Yet it's terribly frustrating as well.

Shooting Star... nothing.
Hell, there has probably been shootings stars flying overhead while someone is dying and looking into the sky.
I don't think I've really talked to anyone for a while that has been in completely crappiness.. could be due to not talking as much to people in general anymore.

I can sorta get what you mean, even if I've never really felt that deeply about anyone. I can't think of much to say really, other than give it time... and just hope that amount of time isn't the next 100 years.

Mate, I've never seen a meteoroid entering the atmosphere before. I'm serious. Maybe I'll see some in the future but this seemed more than a coincidence to me.

I don't believe in a God, or in any religion or deity but it just seemed as if some force was present tonight. You may think I'm talking rubbish but that's how it felt to me.
