I adore Slapp Happy though, so maybe the Dagmar related stuff will do it for me! Big%20smile

Then I highly recommend Art Bears.

Oh lordy.  I just was looking at the BBC website's coverage of a new exhibition in NYC by the infamous Banksy.

Highly inappropriate I'm sure, but this caption made me nearly fall off my chair laughing! Embarrassed LOL

'Banksy's animatronic hot-dogs have sparked complaints from people "unhappy about seeing two hot-dogs performing a sex act", he said.'

Good grief, whatever next.....?!

Confused Tongue

Would the offspring of two hot-dogs having sex be cocktail weiners?

That (i.e. the sausage offspring...) is excellently logical, and very slightly gross.  Well done! Tongue

True, true.

The theme of the show is apparently 'the exploitation of animals' - I guess the animals being exploited here are the pseuds paying money for the 'art'! Wink

not only can this particular segment of our society afford to be expolited, I'm sure most of them secretly enjoy it...Wink

That must be it.  It can't be the decorative ambience, that's for sure...  'Cause who on earth would proudly display an animatronic representation of hot dogs... enjoying... relations...?

"That would look nice on the sideboard, Gerald."
"Yes Mavis, we could put it next to the tableau of Bertie Bassett with the Gingerbread Man."

Ermm LOL

^^ it reminds me of the 'trainer' we had on our Introduction to hostel management course I went on, many years ago....

you couldn't put your finger on it, but he was just slightly seedy (in his tight shorts, in March...Ermm) and just a little over-enthusiastic about everything, for his own good.

he got two small dolls out of his box of visual aids, and suggested that an example of good customer service when cleaning a families room, would be to spend a moment arranging childrens toys, so that they were holding hands on a chair, for when the child returned to their room...Ermm

needless to say our erstwhile 'Managers' spent several happy minutes thinking of alternative 'positions' for them to be found in....Embarrassed

The early shift must not have shown up this morning.  Let us just take the padlock off and open the Shred Room up for business; well not business per se; more music, comraderie, and some food and beverages.  I wonder what they'll come up with today in the Psychedelicatessen.

J, Are you familiar with the band Yang?  I have thrown their CD A Complex Nature in the Shred Room CD Player to start the day off.  It is entirely instrumental.  They are included in Heavy Prog.  Here is a link to their PA page.  http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=3012  Anyhow, it's not bad.  And best of all, I was able to purchase it from Cuneiform Records for only $4.99.

I'm Reckoning that at least on the Subsurface that your Instinct is correct; that is unless of course a way is discovered to Clone the nearly Extinct food.
