I suspect that Indian Pale Ale would not only widen my horizons, but also my belt; which has already surpassed maximum recommended capacity.

^^ I think it was meant to be drunk to replace the sweat lost as a result of the searingly hot Bombay sun...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Sounds like when I was younger and I would work out at the gym at night after my college classes finished, and then head over to the bar for a beer. I had to rehydrate the body after a good workout. Might explain my lack of 6-pack abs.

Good morning Shred roomers. I hope that all is well with you all. I've got myself a pretty busy day happening in the real world today, so I am going to have to really try and make myself scarce here today. So if you see me around here please do me a favor and tell me to get lost. Thanks.

Thank you Jared. I appreciate that. How bad is that, that the day I get promoted I come in and say I have to make myself scarce and be around less? How corporate is that?

Good afternoon everyone! Status report: Currently eating... a blueberry Danish. Currently drinking... blackberry/raspberry/boysenberry smoothie. Currently playing... NOTHING. Grr. Earache. Currently ingesting... strong painkillers (see 'Earache' above...). Well, that's more than enough about me... how are you?

@ Pat: thanks... it is my own fault really, I should know better than to listen to too much RIO thru headphones. I need an ipod speaker dock thingummy... Yes, the confectionery and mushed up fruit are very tasty. Not much consolation for the lack of music, but still... @ Scott: Oh, many congratulations. I hereby toast you in blackberry/raspberry/boysenberry smoothie! @ Jared: I have some more painkillers around here somewhere if you need them...!

Melissa, I meant to ask what you thought of Henry Cow, now that you've heard some.

It was alright... I really need to listen to it more diligently, I think. I can't say that I have fallen in love with it at first listen, nor do I dislike it. I have avoided their repertoire for ages - not sure why. I'm like that sometimes, though, with things that are so renowned and influential. It's easier (for me) to approach stuff that is slightly more obscure. I adore Slapp Happy though, so maybe the Dagmar related stuff will do it for me!
