Sounds disgusting? Well, if you like aniseed the combination is superb. Only a few drops per serving, though, as it tends to overpower the other ingredients.

Yes, it does.

A most underrated root vegetable. A new discovery of mine is to put fresh beetroot in a blender and mix with balsamic vinegar - brilliant with chips (fries). Or just a plain old cheese and beetroot sarney is devine especially with Wensleydale or Shropshire Blue, and salad cream of course. Drool

If you win it, i'll be rather envious.

That's the fun of it, these things are build in Vietnam and bidding (from what I've seen) usually ends a little below 200 euro. They're on offer almost continuously in 4, 5 and 6 string from a German company that provides a 3 year warranty and a 1 month no questions asked replacement term for the misbuilds.

Someone at a Dutch bass guitar forum has one (5-string) and he's quite positive about it. Also heard some pretty nice sounding samples played on it.

You are bidding for a thing of absolute beauty Angelo - I cannot imagine you'd need any other explanation Approve

Jared: He (Dean) definitely looks better in a hat... (I'll show you when the pictures of my last gigs finally arrive) Approve

Apart from that, the bass definitely beats my current one where looks are concerned:

Yes, here are the details: Moon Base Alpha - it's even got a Pac-man animation in the fretboard.

Nice! A handy lad ... I wonder where Jeremy Clarkson would stick this one on the cool board (or have they dropped that by now?)

I'd say with a bass like that he could've come up with a more creative name. Anyway - me's off to dream land. "cu2marra"- as an Indian collegue once e-mail to me, it took me three days to figure it out....
