I'm listening to Sun City Girls and probably pissing off my roommates, they're possibly less accessible than Magma (but not as weird).

Awesome album, and VERY RIO! Approve

Alas, I do not. Cry

I shall have to remedy this by popping round Laplace's hovel and stealing his/her/its spare copy.

Sun City Girls - Torch of the Mystics

It's $80 used on amazon, so just download it.  It's basically experimental rock + raga rock, but they're hard to describe.  Awesome guitar and trippy freakout ethnic feel

also:

Animal Collective - Feels or Strawberry Jam
Akron/Family - Akron/Family
Magazine - Secondhand Daylight

are some random albums to come to mind.  All of which are awesome, but not really prog (except Sun City Girls could easily go on PA, not sure if under raga rock or Avant, though)

I have all of Etron Fou Leloublan's discography in various forms.  I tried to order their second album from Wayside recently but it was out of stock.
