Albert Huybrechts (but he's really hard to find) Stravinsky Bartók Messiaen Webern Shostakovich Charles Ives (more an influence on other avant-prog, rather than chamber) Schoenberg Alban Berg

You need some Messiaen. He sounds like Henry Cow at times. You'll also enjoy Bartók if you enjoy Univers Zéro and Present.

Yes you should.
You should also seek out some of Shostakovich's works. They're very dark at times. Kronos Quartet do an awesome version of a Shostakovich piece on their album Black Angels.

Yes, I have two copies of it in the original packaging but I haven't listened to it yet. I've heard other Stormy Six albums, though, but I forgot how they sounded. Maybe I'll listen to those again, but I put them away.

I'm planning on buying Shostakovich's complete symphonies soon. I already have Ives, Messiaen, Stravinsky, and Bartok.
