Sounds like fun. Wacko

How cold did it get over there? The weather's been great lately! Big%20smile

I'm listening to DT for the first time in agesTongue
Train of Thought.
I always forget how much I love that album, so much better than Octavarium and Systematic Chaos IMO.

I went to bed at a little before midnight last night because I had a long day. Thankfully I did well on my 2 tests, but I have more again next week... and a bloody 2-hour midterm on Friday which I have to stay much later at school for. Angry

Have fun with those knock-door-runs though. LOL

I don't listen to that album often at all; I have to be in the mood for it. But when I am, it can be pretty good.

Octavarium really wore off on me except the title track, which is their best song IMO. Systematic Chaos never did hit me at all. I'm really hoping for a much better next release (I think 2009), or else I've just about given up on hoping for any new good DT releases. Ouch

I know David doesn't agree with me though. Tongue

I love Train of Thought more than some people because I'm a fan of Extreme metal.
Technically, Train Of Thought as an album could be classed as a Tech/Extreme Prog and not just merely prog meta albuml, because it has clear thrash metal/groove metal elements as well as technicality.

Yeah, I agree with you; I can definitely see that. I like some technical/extreme metal, but it's really good for me if I'm only in the mood for it. Meshuggah is by far my favorite.

Must get eyes checkedLOL

I don't have any 2 favorite bands.... the disadvantage of not being a fanboy of any band.
My favorite band changes literally everyday/week.

You just gotta bear in mind, the bands I pick are what my favorites are at the moment in time and don't represent a particular favorite.

Doesn't matter if they're your ultimate favorites or not. Just so long as they're PROG bands. Wink

Updated it for you. Wink

I'm hoping to at least get all the options filled and get some more votes and/or feedback before I start. Unfortunately it doesn't get near as much attention as it should, since it'll be in the Just for Fun section, so that's why I had to temporarily change my signature... as much as I didn't want to.

I miss my matching signature. Cry

Ahh.

I'm eagerly awaiting Mike Misterprog's vote for Dream TheaterLOL
I would have voted for them..... if it wasn't for the fact BtBaM's last two albums absolutely killed DT's last two albumsLOL

I was waiting all that time to get 5,000 posts and I thought it would feel more different... but it doesn't.

Now I'm just waiting for 10,000. LOL

It's a never ending cycle! LOL

Yeah, so am I. Where has he been lately anyway? Admittedly I haven't been on a whole much until yesterday and today, but I haven't seen him in a little bit.

I'm not as familiar with BtBam... I need to listen to that album I have.

After 10 000 it's most likely you wont care how much you get after.
If I really cared that much for my post count, I would have been here on PA last night too, but I decided being social would be better than becoming more of a n00bLOL

I've barely been at PA lately, so I've got no idea either.
Which album you got?
