Another thing I want to buy, the Chapters Live CD. Been wanting to hear that for ages now. |
Chapters Live is pretty good, but the recording is less than stellar. E

Too bad. How bad is it? Is it worth getting?
Now listening to Maestoso - Caterwauling. Love Woolly's stuff, as good as classic BJH IMO.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

I think it's worth getting, but the mix could've been a little better. Pretty cool to hear Chapters in order like that, so that alone is worth it.

^^I like this one a lot, Antoine. Do you have Icon II? I prefer the first one, but both are very good.

Grim is one of my favorite BJH-related albums, up there with the greats Once Again and Everyone Is Everybody Else, IMO. Caterwauling is also a great album, as is One Drop in a Dry World. But Grim is my fav.

Weird yes. But I find the Flying Teapot Trilogy to be loads of fun. And Angel's Egg is my favorite of the three.
Now listening to Floyd Obscured by Clouds.

I read The Lost Chord's blog/essay about Gong back when he wrote it, and I found it to be quite enlightening about the band, but the music just isn't my thing. Although, the last 3 songs that played; Oily Way, Outer Temple 1, and Inner Temple 2 were actually pretty good. Before that, nothing really did anything for me.

Seems 'the doctor' has really great taste, at least like the same stuff than me
