"Music is much like f**king, but some composers can't climax and others climax too often, leaving themselves and the listener jaded and spent."

Personally, I love it, but unlike most prog rock fans I've always liked Asia so that doesn't mean much.  I enjoy the music that they did perform, rather than lament how great the music might have been that they could have performed. LOL

Agree with youClap...John Wetton never sang better than with Asia.................Phoenix is good, some good songs, some so-so of course, but it is pleasant listening overall!Thumbs%20UpWink

I'm currently listening to the track Parallel Worlds-Vortex-Deya and Steve Howe's guitar playing is almost as brilliant as his work with Yes.  And I agree that I like John Wetton's singing best on Asia.

Still in a metal mood from Wednesday's concert:

I'm going to need to get some Ayreon or Dream Theater going to get some prog back in me (although this album does have a lot of prog moments)

I've always enjoyed Asia as well.  Saw them live in NYC in 06.  Great show! Clap

Also have enjoyed the Wetton/Downes albums, as well as the John Payne era Asia, and like their reunion album a lot.  Of course, nothing they do will ever beat the first two Asia albums.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?
