that was Lee's very own recipe for sheep wool remover...12.5% proof...and so toxic that when it was fermenting, a couple of the casks exploded...
we ended up having to lob some bricks at several more at the bottom of the garden, to save them from exploding under the floor boards...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I don't know about removing wool from sheep, but it definitely put hair on my chest.

I'm not much of a coffee drinker myself, but there is always a pot brewing to help sober us up for the ride home. But I must say, that given this establishment just opened, we have already been contacted by Starbucks about adding on a franchise store.

Coors is the largest employer in our town and a very nice hi-tech chemical plant it is too.
The waste-products of which are Marmite and Carling Black Label.

As long as you don't mind drinking beer, eating cheetos, listening to prog, and catching the ball game/hockey game on the big screen TV you'll fit in just fine. Sadly, European football/soccer is only rarely shown, but if there are those that are willing to take up a collection I'm sure that we can get a special channel for that. But to be honest, I'd probably suggest dropping by the Shed where they have football matches playing all day long. |

I knew you were going to steal that idea from me. I shouldn't have ever shown it to you. That is all. |

The voices said "build the shred room and they will come" but it appears that the voices were mistaken. I guess that Pat was right in his assessment that thirty somethings have nothing to talk about. |

I suppose part of it might be my fault. I did have Awake from Dream Theater blasting from the speakers and I suppose that that is more likely to deter the 30-somethings, and attract some of the riff raff from the Suede Room.

Since I am the only one here and playing DT didn't work so well I decided to throw in the new Asia album. The proggers are confused and feel that they can only secretly enjoy it while outwardly sneering at the idea of Asia reforming. |

Now I've got some Saga blasting on the stereo. That'll send the RIO'ers next door in the Suede Room scrambling for some Zappa/Zorn type albums. Methinks it is time to order a pizza and some breadsticks and crack open a nice cold beer. Edited by rushfan4 - October 03 2008 at 14:09 |
