Very odd actually... I had always had this idea, if I were to play in a fusion band, it would sound pretty rocky and strangely, The Wrong Object is somewhat like the sound I had in my head, although as you might expect, in my own head I had a more metal inspired thing going on.
Very haphazard guitar playing in that solo.. some of it was almost too widdly sounding to my ears, I thought the solo on the other clip was much better. |

Sorry about that, I was having an unpleasant conversation with some guy who likes George Michael, Culture Club and Darren Hayes on Last.fm.....
I'm good! How are you guys?! James, long time no speak man! |

I have to agree. The solo on the other clip was better. Their most recent album is amazing though. Plus the bassist is great too. Especially when he knocks on the fuzz. |

One thing I love about Fusion, is that many of the bassists are seriously talented musicians and really get to shine in fusion.
Those clips alone showed a lot of good stuff happening, thanks for those actually. In fact, I might even save those clips to my hard drive to watch again and again. |

I'll throw it into my FLV converter first, so it might take me about 2 minutes before I can watch it.

Even just the few songs I've heard by Hatfield were extremely good, as well as National Health.

That's because both those bands have an pwnage quotient that is off the charts. |

I really want to see the full concert now, rather than just excerpts. Wyatt with Hatfield and the North! |

Robert Wyatt is a genius.
He was an amazing drummer. Now he's an amazing composer. Plus his piano playing isn't bad either. |

The body shop should be calling me today with the damage estimate, and what the other guy's insurance is going to pay for. Either they'll fix it or "total it" (don't know if they have this phrase down under) in which case they'll pay me for the current market value of the car. |
