can you imagine Steve playing Sound Chaser in tortoise-style? However, why is it US again? I hope they will come back to Europe after few years
yet you still have time!

I've heard they might play smoke on the water as an encore Clown

still, it is better than Drama times - at least the fans are informed of line-up change and Jon with Rick are not on fighting terms with the rest of the band
yet you still have time!

A chance to see them in a place that seats 2,000 is great for me.

I'm still quite baffled as to why WILLIAMSPORT was chosen. I can understand Reading and even Hershey, but Williamsport? I'm surprised they didn't choose Philadelphia. There's plenty of great venues here such as the Electric Factory, Tower Theater, and Keswick Theater that I think this lineup would sound great in. Oh well, I can wait for Jon Anderson to return, IF he does.

This past Saturday Steve Howe performed a solo show at the Oscar Peterson Theatre Concert Hall ( about 480 seats, very intimate ) at Concordia University, Loyola Campus in Montréal and I only heard about it the day after Angry. Montréal is the worst for not publicising special shows like this. It`s just all the crap that gets the attention Angry.

Ridiculous prices for the Hammerstein.

Westbury is a bit more reasonable..I might go to that date.

Exactly, Keswick is ideal for me, but the Philly venues are great too, in fact I saw Yes at the Tower in the late 90s.  Won't be bothered to travel to Hershey, Reading, etc. for an Anderson-less Yes.

Jon is not happy.   From jonanderson.com

"September 18, 2008

Disappointed, and very Disrespected

Disappointed that, with the exception of one phone call from Alan, none of the guys have been in touch since my illness, just to find out how I am doing, and how we will foresee the future for YES. And disappointed that they were not willing to wait till 2009 when I’m fully recovered.

And I feel very disrespected, having spent most of this year creating songs and constant ideas for the band, spending time with Roger Dean creating a stage design, also working with VH1 and Sirius and XM Radio to help promote the welfare of YES.

Getting sick was not "on my radar”, and I thank my own angel Janeee and my family for helping me through this difficult time, and the many well wishers, friends and fans alike, for understanding that ''things happen''.

Of course I wish the guys all the best in their 'solo' work, but I just wish this could have been done in a more gentlemanly fashion. After all YES is a precious musical band.

This is not YES on tour...

I send best wishes to one and all,
Jon Anderson

It is disgusting how Jon has been treated.  Could this be the end of Yes?

Flippin' eck you would have thought this was all done with the blessing of Jon - not behind his back. Yours is a disgrace! Sorry.....hard to see how they all continue as Yes "proper" after this.

Well, at least I saw them on their 35th anniversary tour....seems that'll be it then for the "classic" line-up......
