Wow, just......wow. And to think that I complained about losing power for 30 hours from Ike's winds when they moved east far inland. Some of these people probably won't have electricity, running water, etc for several weeks. Damn I'm lucky.

Imagine how I feel.
Sure we have our wildfires and rare earthquakes but
nothing like that.
360 days of agreeable weather a year, I'm spoiled.

Hell, since I'm situated in the inner suburbs, wildfires have no chance of affecting me.
It might hail now and then, sometimes the inner city gets flooded, somehow just happens I live in an area of Melbourne that isn't susceptible to that kinda stuff.

but Harry you live in Australia where every creature is deadly poisonous..  you can barely walk out of your house without fear of attack from a flying scorpion or a giant tree chicken.. right?
