5 years of Catholic high school was bad enough for me. Not that it was a bad school, I just really got sick of the religion crap.
Dude, one year of Catholic school was enough for me.LOL
I never "got" religion. I could never differentiate between a guy who plants three magic beans and goes up a giant beanstalk to guy who turns water into wine and raises the dead. They were all fairytales to me.

Yeah, I can relate there. My own religion/value system is good enough for me. I don't need to follow any set beliefs to feel better about myself.

And most religions base their main stories around such things anyway.

There have been so many times that I've been at friends' houses on Saturdays and instinctively turned on the light switch to a dark room. One of my friends would always yell out "NO YOU CAN'T DO THAT TODAY!" I think the proof that I wasn't struck by lightning out of nowhere right after is proof that nothing's going to happen from doing that.

I'm taking a class next semester on the Bible as literature.
Should be interesting.

None of my friends are that orthodox.

I know a ton. Most Jews in my high school aren't religious though. All of the religious ones go to private school.

I'm glad I didn't have to deal with a whole lot of extremely religious Catholic people in high school. There was really only one person like that, and needless to say we didn't get along. Mostly because he was a very self-righteous person.

Atheism, hell yeah!

It would take a drug over dose and seeing things while unconscious to make me believe in godLOL

Latest report:

Kim has a boyfriend and he isn't me.  He's someone I knew before she did.  He doesn't live in Swindon.  Kim doesn't want a long-distance relationship but will be fine if she sees him every weekend... so she's apparently going up to his this weekend.  Except she has no way of getting there.

I've been chatting to her sister a lot and she thinks she (Kim) should be with me too. LOL  The one time her sister spoke to Kim's boyfriend online, she didn't like him and doesn't think she will in the future.

Yes mate.

I know him well enough now... I had to put up with him all weekend!

He's actually got a lot of friends in Swindon (many who I know quite well) but he doesn't live here (his mother does) so he only visits Swindon once or twice a month.

He's an all right dude actually.  Wants the same from her as I do.  So it's cool in that respect.

However, I'm not sure the distance thing will work out for her... he's very patient and is willing to wait and stuff but she isn't.

Plus there's still something about him I'm not sure about... I cannot put my finger on it.

I just hope she knows what she's doing...
