Whether it is photoshopped or not doesn't matter, it matters that we have a pic in some form or another.

Me too.

Except liner notes are getting more and more indistinct, except on remasters, where 16 page booklets are great!

Plus you cannot get an MP3 album signed by members of the band... I like getting booklets signed when I can. Big%20smile

Oooh, my Wayside docket has been signed by someone named Kaitlin. Big%20smileEmbarrassed

I love Wayside.

The docket says the value of all 11 CDs is $32. LOL

I mean I love that I can rip stuff, it's great and I've gotten albums I never would've been able to find even for big $ on the net, but you can't beat liner notes cause it's either written by someone in the band or close to them so you know your getting the best info

Yep, unless it's a Musea release. LOLEmbarrassed

I shouldn't have said that.

I agree wholeheartedly though.

I have a rare vinyl by a band called Unrest, Work & Play and it's a limited edition and still has the slip of paper in it saying which number it is. Big%20smile

Vinyls are fantastic for that purpose. Big%20smile

Not as bad as Univers Zéro and Present liner notes though. Embarrassed

They're usually a black CD sized bit of card, folded over with just a track listing and performers listed on it.

I've seen worse from official releases. LOL

One band I bought a CD by didn't even have a folded over bit of card.  It was just a dual-case sized bit of white card slipped in. Cry

The worst culprits are the new style cases.  They don't even have pull-out booklets (some do though), they just have the information printed on the box.

I guess it hails back to the old vinyl days.  But many of the old vinyls had separate pull-outs as well.  Some even had large posters.

The last poster I got was with The Pax Cecilia's Blessed Are the Bonds and before that, with Absolute Zero's album.

I never put said posters up on the wall though. Embarrassed

Shame about the venue, the music and the promoters though. LOL

I know Yankeeboy.  Not a bad guy.  As his name suggests, he's American but has lived in Swindon for ages now.  He tends to bring over a lot of American bands but mostly stuff that's rather scene.
