I just end up feeling a little anxious staying up that late. I guess I should find a good book to crack out before going to bed, so I don't have to lie their guessing what hour I'll fall asleep. My mother borrowed a book from the library on Social Intelligence, should be a good read (if she doesn't notice I've pinched it from her room).

Not much of the criminal nowadays, or ever really. Just never been my thing to risk getting my butt in jail Oh god, it's only about 4 or so weeks until I put my guitar up for sale. It felt like it was longer than that.

Indeedio.
I just feel a bit limited by my current guitar. With a 7, it's not just about the heaviness. There is the increased sustain factor by the wider neck, more chord options, extended range for running up and down the fretboard while soloing.

I've played 7s a few times. A bit confusing at first of course, but I imagine within a few days, you would get used to it.

Whatever you want actually.
When Steve Vai came out with the original Ibanez Universe, he intended for it to have a high A. Problem was, back in 1987, there were no strings with a 0.06 or 0.05 that had a tensile strength high enough to actually last long enough to justify the high A string, so of course, Vai decided the low B would be it and of course today, the UV guitar is still made.
Fast Forward 21 years, better string manufacturing technology, and you can have a high A if you want. I'll be sticking with the low B for my purposes, since high A string sets are not cheap.

I see.. I used 9 gauge often cause they're so nice for bending but you do lose some tone.. I think SRV used elevens, man had some hands

SRV used 13s for his high E string on occasions.. lord knows how he managed considering he only downtuned one semit-tone.
I use 9s too, for ease of bending, plus under high gain they maintain more clarity too. For a 7 string, I might use either 9-42 plus 54 low B, or a 58 low B, depending on how it feels.
