Davidatachayong, I assume you have a fairly mesomorphic body somatype?
I have being ectomorphic.
Everytime I want to gain muscle, it always gets to a certain point, and just.. stops to early onCry

not mesomorphic at all, more like Bruce Lee's build, small, wire-like.. I can gain good muscle tone but it's closer to a boxer's development

So I guess, you have more tendency towards ectomorphy than pure mesomorphic, but you are slightly more mesomorphic than a true ectomorph.
For me, if I want to gain real muscle, I can possibly wait till I'm 25, slowed down metabolism, be an absolutely couch/computer potato, risk a heart attackLOL eat, and then maybe replace the extra fat with some amount of muscle.

If I ever try to build on muscle, I have to lift weights, run, etc and do several different things just to keep them. Since I'm not the body builder type I'll just stick to the occasional jog or swimming laps. All in all, I only do those things several times per week, so just enough to keep myself healthy. And besides that's really all that matters.

I've been doing bicep curls lately, but it will only go so far with my naturally slim body.
I can't swim for crap anymore, I just never go to swimming pools anymore, just doesn't appeal to me much I s'pose.

well yeah, basically..  I didn't start to gain much fat or muscle till I was about 25, and besides exercise is more important when your older so I think that works out Wink

Yeah, my father was very slim, like me in his youth, he still kept fit after 25 years old, but he injured his back at work when he was about 32-33 years old (going back to the early 90s I believe this happened) and his weight shot up to borderline obese for a while.

I swam competitively from since I was about 9 or 10 until I was 16, mostly b/c it was the one sport that didn't require a ballLOL and I thus had a chance to be just as good or  in many cases even better than most other people. Nowadays I'll occasionally do laps at a local pool just to get some exercise. It just comes naturally for me.

Ball sports for me=fail.

I actually always felt embarrassed playing ball sports, because I was always less co-ordinated than the really sporty dudes in PE class, and I always figured I must look wonky so some extent playing those type of sports.
So really, my exercise at the time, was pushups, pull ups (chin ups, whatever you call 'em), and jogging.
