De-loused in the Comatorium is absolutely one of the best records of the decade.

10p says it's not as good as anything Genesis did from 1970-1977

deloused is an OK record

it still irritates me though; the lyrics are self-aware but some parts of the album are still just dumb rock

I will say that I didn't immediately enjoy Wyatt's vocals but I did "acquire the taste", as it were.
