Ibanez. With the following mods:
Seymour Duncan Blackouts to replace the terrible stock pickups Locking Tuners (yet to decide which brand) Graphtec saddles. Sanding of the lower cutaway. Fretboard re-radius to 20 inches, and dunlop 6000 frets.
Should be a mean guitar.

lul, if I had the money I probably would. I really want to get a 7 string too within the next 2 years..I can't really find the perfect one that's not a sig..the Petrucci, Cooley, and Loomis are all really expensive..and I don't want to be playing someone elses signature..have you decided which one you're getting? |
Harry told me he's getting this: ![](http://www.sonicftp.com/news/images/gibson_joanjett.jpg) A Joan Jett signature Melody Maker Gibson.

About 1.8K. Still cheaper than buying a brand new Loomis, not to mention the Ibanez already has a neck that I know goes well with my hands.

A melody maker would give me carpal tunnel syndrome man, and probably tendinitis too. Once you go to a shredders guitar and realize how ergonomic they are, you never go back.
