Err, MoP was mastered a lot better IMO.
The levels weren't f**king brickwalled like they are on Death Magnetic Dead

People using studio monitors to play Death Magnetic even got clipping, that is seriously f**ked Dead

Loudness war=epic failure.

There is no such as "overmastered", it's a problem with excessive compression of the audio in this case.

At least a lot of prog hasn't fell victim to over compression.
Ghost Reveries had some freaking good mastering if I must say, it left quite a lot of room for dynamics Clap
