It is funny that you posted one minute after I said this. I thought you had temporarily left. LOL

I was just preparing a good answer. LOL

Yeah, I figured that out. LOL

And your chart does give me a good idea of your musical taste. Pretty interesting mix of bands.

Thanks! Though not everything's perfect to my current preferences since it covers not long after I was discovering some bands as well... but I suppose it's decently accurate. Henry Cow should be alot higher. Tongue

I forgot about Magma earlier. Zeuhl iss de hundin! Clap

In that vein, to actually stimulate some sort of intellectual discussion and/or leave a comment for people to further discuss once I'm gone...

Tom Scholz was actually a well-known perfectionist and was unhappy with his results of the 2nd album (and probably those albums thereafter). If the record companies or no one else was pushing, it makes me wonder if he would have expanded somewhat of a more proggy root or if the result would have been rather similar. I once read that for a while after the release of Don't Look Back, Scholz actually listened to "The Journey" every time before he went to sleep (which is, interestingly enough, the shortest and most proggy track on there). Could Boston have matched or surpassed the intensity of their debut and in the long run sold more copies (attracting mainstream music lovers and creating sophisticated rock at the same time) or would it have flopped?

Gotta love analyzing possible situations. WinkLOL

Well, I grew my musical love out of things like Styx, ELO, Rush, Zeppelin, etc., so when I heard Boston it appealed to me greatly. Something about it just clicks with me; I think most of their songs (earlier mainly) are well-crafted.

All preference though. I think Radiohead's way better anyway. Wink

I would say something, but I honestly don't care right now. Yesterday the remnants of Hurricane Ike which blew through Texas ended up moving east and hit us the next day. The wind left 90% of the people around Cincinnati without electrical power, and after losing that for 30 hours, it's finally come back on. Right now I think I feel a mix of euphoria, ecstasy, and drunkenness.LOL
