Just heard on the News, Richard Wright of Pink Floyd has died of cancer, don't know any more details

I checked Wikipedia, the info is true, but just look how horrendous the update was made:

He was aged 65 and has died after a long battle with Cancer.
His contribution to Pink Floyd cannot be underestimated. This is a sad sad day

The BBC is saying a short battle, which arguably is preferable. I think that had it been a long battle news of it would have slipped out by now and it seems to be news to everyone here. |

What tragic news - a great musician who maybe was never given the credit he really deserved.
Sadly that means the Live 8 performance really was the end of Floyd. |
