Hmmm... not so sure about that -- but the dishes need doing, the lounge pillows need fluffing, the rug hoovering, the lunch cooking....
Q: How does a man open a beer?
A: He doesn't -- it should be open when his wife brings it to him!
Ha! You gals can't swat me way over here!
Just kidding, me lovelies -- we guys actually don't want you near the beer...
I'll go to work now, shall I?

Maybe it was a cunning plan to subvert the Colombian cocaine industry from the inside by replacing it all with CoffeeMate. I suspect CIA involvement. Mr Fabricant was just an ignorant stooge.

Mr Fabricant sounds more like a Monty Python character than a CIA one.

Lovely! Poo Brown. And the Vanden Plas version looks worse, to be fair. My nextdoor neighbours had an old bright green VW Golf for ages... it certainly was noticeable. |

And don't forget getting things down off high shelves ... assuming you've got round to putting the shelves up in the first place, that is (I'll get around to it, OK?).

It's been coming down stair rods here in Raynes Park. Fortunately we live on the 2nd floor and we've needed to do something about the stair carpets for a while now. Edited by Syzygy - September 05 2008 at 15:47 |

Last night, I was informed of a shocking development - that indeed, it was not possible for the trash to take itself out. |

It's only a theory - leave it for long enough and it will evolve legs and break for freedom.

thanks for the thought, Alan..
I have popped in with an updated weather report for West Herefordshire...
at present, I have a group of young male outdoor types wandering around the hostel aimlessly. this is because their leader, who lives down a farm track outside a village near Bridgend, managed to flood his engine in a lake sized pothole, early this afternoon. He had to be towed out by a local garage, where his vehicle now resides, ready to be 'drained' next week...
we had a manger's meeting here today, and the 2 chaps from Brecon, only just made it...single file traffic down the cats eyes at 11.00am...goodness knows if they made it back again at 3.00pm...
in the mean time, the vertical stair-rods continue...my Sieges Even CD just about keeping out the incessant noise of them bouncing off the games room...
and I'm meant to be on holiday this week... treating myself to some nice days out...

a similar theory to the one I used about socks as a teenager... you knew it was time to change them, when you threw them at the wall and they stuck...

well, its finally stopped raining over here...I'm thinking of setting a dove free out of the window, to see whether it will come back with an olive leaf in its beak...
