I used to drink my coffee like that, but in recent years I've found that it disagrees with me*. Now I usually drink cappucino on the odd occasion when I have coffee rather than tea, and a decent cappucino with a muffin takes a lot of beating.

We have a Bistro at work which serves fantastic homemade muffins; blueberry, chocolate and my favorite, apple and cinnamon.

Disagreeing is one thing, Chris, but there are limits

+++

Incidentally, I said a couple of pages back I've been getting back into Dream Theater & had recently bought 'Octavarium'; after giving it a good listen, it's made my mind up completely:

I am no longer 'back into Dream Theater'.

Bless 'em, I know they're good musicians, but they're just trying too hard - there's a couple of OK tracks & within the 24 minute 'Octavarium' itself, there's a good 5 minute song trying to get out +++sigh+++ I'll leave their later albums for those who (adopts sniffy tone) like that sort of thing... & go back to their earlier material

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Not heard Train Of Thought, but after Octaquarium, I'm a little antsy about shelling out for it; the most recent one I really enjoyed was Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence (they were great on that tour too) & that was 6 years ago.

We're talking about Dream Theater!

In The Shed!

Quick - someone make a comment about cracked pavements, walking sticks, Morris Marinas, proper album covers, paint, anything...

back to shed talk, ok...

we recently got some "burning bushes" for the front yard - they bloom in the spring, and in fall their leaves will turn a wonderful red, very cool.

LOL  Let me ask you, is it possible that Labour can piss everyone off so much that a Tory government could actually come back?

I fear that it so.

Now let's get back to non-political affairs, before Dean, Jim, Andy et al. start to hyperventilate and spit some bile in sheer anger at the thought of a Tory Government coming back...

A simple question: why did Morris Marinas always seem to come in "Poo Brown"?  It's a horrible colour for a car and it didn't help that the Morris Marina was a terrible car anyhow... although I think some Itals were also in "Poo Brown", as were some Allegros, so it must bit a British Leyland (sic) thing.

Yes, I believe they have done it quite successfully. If there was a General Election now, they'd be out on their arses.

btw

·        The diuretic effect of caffeine is dependent on the amount consumed and duration of intake e.g. the caffeine in tea does not have a diuretic effect unless the amount of tea consumed at one sitting contains more than 250-300mg of caffeine, equivalent to between 5 and 6 cups of tea.
