The Shed

Personally I think we should all generate power by burning Dream Theater CDs, there must be loads of 'em out there.

You guys must be using different energy savers than I do - admittedly, I do have some which look like small florescent tubes, but most of the ones we use look like normal light bulbs, only fatter; these don't seem to have any real dimness issues at all; which is more than can be said of me occasionally:

Sad as it is, I've been getting back into DT recently; just bought 'Octavarium' which apart from the obligatory lighters in the air ballard (LaBrie being sensitive - bleagh!!) is actually quite good (just don't tell any of the Suedettes I said that )

seriously its nice for us old proggers who cant understand what progressive hip hop is (at least in my case) to find a place to rest thier weary bones

this is why i dont post often,i have only seen a half dozen bands or so , i really feel left out,still its great to read other peoples stories

There's nothing like standing in a packed sweaty black painted basement, trying not to spill your beer, whilst jumping up & down singing along to 'Kingdom Of Madness', then staggering to your mate's Ford Capri, blearily thanking him for driving, then falling asleep in the back seat with your ears ringing from the eardrum splitting volume of Magnum at full pelt...

...that's proper memories, that is.
