That's the cousin of BANANAS....if you liked it, you won't have any problem with THE RAPTURE..I haven't!

2 songs very so-so , but the rest is brillant......not a band living from its past!..still creative..Thumbs%20Up

As much as i was sad seeing J.LORD leaving ship, i think Don Airey not only filled up LORD shoes very well, but is adding more to the sound than Jon

Agh, Bananas is another one I've put off, mostly because the cover art is... well... awful LOL. Maybe I'll give them both a shot the next time I have the erm... money.

I have to admit that when i saw Bananas cover, i was shocked and scared as well.....especially coming after the dreadful ABANDON..........until i listen to it ...and what a re-energized DP full of freshness and Gillan still got it.
Just consider the cover as funny....and go for it.......don't put too many purchases off so easilyLOLWink

There are some good tunes on it, especially the bonus tracks are worthy if you got the new digipack!!
Sure this is no masterpiece and wear no resemblance to their beginnings, but i am a completistLOL

and the cover artwork is worth the purchase aloneLOL
