Nationality check

Well obviously the further I go back in my ancestry, the more chances I'd likely find some Norman, Scandinavian and German ancestry but so far, all I've hit upon are English people.  No Welsh, Scottish or Irish... although there is rumoured to be an Irish link, I've yet to find it.

So for me, I'm quite proud of my roots.

Oh and also, I do not believe I have found a single ancestor from further north than Cambridgeshire... so all my ancestors are from the South of England and East Anglia.  I did think I had some Yorkshire ancestors up until recently but it turns out they're actually from Buckinghamshire and their surname's spelling has been misspelled on many occasions, which means they have no links to the other family who hail from Yorkshire and Lancashire originally.

Not that I mind ancestors from any other part of the country or even from any part of the world but it's nice to know that so far, they're concentrated in the south.

Aren't those the German colors? 

It's easy to get them mixed up.
