From the forum I got that link from, one guy said "well it's better than dropping out and joining a gang" lol. I personally know a kid that dropped out of school to play video games, it's so sad. He has no motivation to do anything else AT ALL

shows (including soundcheck), writing, and rehersals every so often..like when they were gearing up for the LTE mini tour and rehearsed LTE everyday..this was going on during prognation so they had BTBAM as the special audience too watch everyday Lucky b*****ds.

Woa, I figured Portnoy would at least practice some amount in his spare time. So only at DT band rehearsals, that must be tough to keep his drumming chops in shape then.

To be able to at least maintain his level of playing, if not get any better, he would need AT LEAST 2 hours day practice I think.

You're right, Portnoy doesn't practice at all on his spare time though he said in an interview..he's too busy w/ fanclubs and whatnot.

Ah man, to be honest, from 2007 releases, Systematic Chaos barely gets a play anymore in my world. I honestly way prefer listening to FOABP and Colors from 2007 releases.

Practice was his social life probably , much like mine actually. Coincidence?
But he's using a Mark 3..and he hasn't used one since WDADU..he used 2 Mark lV's for distorted, and a lonestar for clean this tour.
