Tosin Abasi was shredding in that video you n00b!
He used heaps of sweep picking, but it sounded so melodic and tasteful at the same time.

And Unearth is pretty cool IMO. Haven't heard much of them yet, but will get into them more later on I suspect.

Yes he was doing a bit of sweeping. But neither of them were doing 8 string sweep licks

Hehe, Mike, I think Buz was a bit sloppy on his sweep picking on the video, there is this one sweep where he almost misses a not and a whole heap of extraneous string noise.
Still, a pretty goddamn good guitarist though Smile
