That used to be my least favourite track on Still Life.

I love it a lot more now... it's possibly still my least loved track from that album (and having heard the BBC Maida Vale version doesn't help--it's a better version) but I think it's mostly due to the fact I've yet to take the lyrics in fully.

It was about his ex girlfriend who was a red head.

I also think I get frustrated 'cause I cannot sing along to it... and I always get the "Organ Grinder sceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaams" part wrong. LOL

It's still excellent though.

Even mp3 versions (high quality, mind you) of these digital remasters are great, the sound quality on these albums is superb. The piano on "My Room" is sounding so rich.

I like VDGG alright, but I can only listen to an album or two at once. After that, the albums tend to get worn a bit for me. Wink

Speaking of games... which of the many versions of Age of Empires, is the one where there's a big back-history about all the races? I remember when we had the demo version at College I spent a lot of time reading about the Hittites and stuff.

Do all versions have this history or was it one particular version?

This would have been about 1998 or so... I think it was AoE II: Rise of Rome

Man-Erg is one of my favorite VDGG tracks though! Heart

But.. people will flame me for this... Pawn Hearts is probably one of my least favorite VDGG albums. Embarrassed
