I prefer the opener... all though all tracks are fantastic!

Huh, the opener was the weakest for me - thought the album "picked up" a lot more after it was done.
It'll all need more listening though.

I want to maybe have a family someday, but I thankfully have quite a LONG time to think about that. Tongue

I prefer "Rattims Friezz", even if I haven't heard what you guys are talking about. LOL

I think I finally decided that I prefer Angherr Shisspa to the debut, but they're both two of my favorite non-Magma Zeuhl albums.  I have Nivraym too (downloaded) and it's not quite as good but I need to give it more listens.  Can't wait to get Viva Koenji! which is apparently one of their best.  I have an improv/Angherr Shisspa DVD too, forget the name but it was recently released even though I got it earlier than the release date at NEARfest. Oh yes, Rattims Friezz beats Sotos.

But Patrick, the opener is brilliant and I love it!  However, it was track 3 that made me severely eargasm.

I have the three albums other than the debut and it's harder than hell choosing a favorite. I usually go with Nivraym (it does take some more listens), but it could easily go in the direction of any of them. I need to really get that debut.

That DVD would be sweet! Big%20smile

Hopefully I'll be able to go to NEARfest this year and by some miracle Koenji will play again. TongueWink

What state are you at?  I guess you'll be getting your drivers license soon (that is, if you don't have it already or if you don't wait a long time to like I did), so if you're nearby, go. Wink

I'm in the extreme northern part of Kentucky--about 5 minutes across the Ohio river from Cincinnati. Thus, it would be a 10 or 11 hour drive. LOL

But, David (birdwithteeth) and I have been planning a road trip... so we might go to Philadelphia and use NEARfest as a good added bonus. Not sure yet, we still have to figure everything out.
