Don't you ever get tired of that joke? I did plenty of things this summer... just none with an "official" work-related job. I didn't need one. Not yet anyway. I'm pretty content with my non-official job of musician, especially when our album comes out.

That would be awesome. Will you record them?

Good luck then! Maybe you'll make a video of yourself playing one so I could see it. That'd be really sweet

Well not sure yet if it's worth recording. I figured it was more, just that I've never ever learned a song longer than about 6 minutes before, and I wanted to see how well I would be able to learn and play stuff that went over 8 minutes. Opeth songs are pretty long, but for the most part aren't technical metal, so I shouldn't have problems on the technique side of things.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Well, when/if you do pull them off in the
form of a recording/video, you should post them here. People would like
to hear it pretty badly, I'd imagine.
And why the heck do I keep getting the spam message (well, it's not too bad, all things considered) and David hasn't even gotten it once?!

Indeed, that's a good idea actually.
Hehe, over 400, now you've gotta get to 10 000
|
10,000 seems really far for me, let alone David. I even wonder if I'll get that many.

Indeed, I think the challenge of Opeth stuff, is just the concentration aspect and just being able to remember so many parts in one song. I guess it wont be so bad, considering I can play One by Metallica and that goes for nearly 7 and a half minutes.

Yeah, exactly. You should be able to pull it off though, from what I've read. How long have you played guitar?
