I wont disagree, I find a lot of the athlete chicks pretty poor in the looks department too man. I've watched about 5 minutes of the Olympic, and then quickly reminded myself about organ harvesting and Tibet.

Actually, BTBAM are not lead guitar focused at all.
In fact, everytime I hear them, I always think it's weird how restrained they are in that aspect.
Their technicality actually comes from their riffs, and complicated rhythms for the most part part.
And considering BTBAM is a prog metal band, they have a lot more diversity in their sound compared to a straight death band like Pig Destroyer.

Well I do like Math Rock and that's technical... so you never know.

Well to give you an idea, in say, a typical 10minute plus BtBaM song, most of the lead guitar work is mainly used just in a "riffage" form if that makes sense, as in they aren't there as solos as such. Their last two albums can be somewhat compared to Opeth, but heavier than Opeth, perhaps even more death metal sounding than Opeth and for the most part the instrumentation is much more virtuosic.

BTBAM is more tech and talented musicianship wise than Opeth..but as far as my tastes go : Opeth > BTBAM
and BATBOOM is a cooler abreviation
