Bands such as Wood (who I are Canadian) and Glueleg have respectively done industrial/metally and a brass rock versions of Red in the mid 90's, while there is a rambling, big band version by the Either Orchestra - so I guess there are a number of KC tunes that do lend themselves to reasonably drastic rearrangements away from straight prog rock.

I've seen the random band name generators that have been mentioned. The best suggestion I got was 'Homo Midnight'.
Maybe this is my opportunity to plunder the pink pound (or dollar) ![](smileys/smiley36.gif)

How about - "Delusions of Grandeur" - and produce the most OTT (quadruple CD (4 (80 minute epics)) - taking all the finest synth/guitar solos from the prog genre and skilfully weaving them into an all time prog-classic!

Keep randomly tapping at your keyboard and you might come up with a new Shakespeare!

What about "Pale Dead Ghost Whores." I think Shrinking Violent quoted that once and it just seems like a great name. Of course, "Ginger Pubes" would also be worthy of consideration.

I've always liked Organic Muck or Primordial Soup as band names, but I was hogging these names for myself. Seeing as I probably won't be needing them, you're welcome to them
