But I'll play Red Barchetta instead. Dedicated to Roblov.
Playing on an acoustic bass is kinda strange, but there isn't much to do when my own is in Uppsala.

Meh. Put on some Rush instead. Wink

Rush and Spock's Beard are about equally cheesy, I probably prefer Rush though, but not by much.  And I prefer Koenjihyakkei to both. Tongue

Equally cheesy? Confused

Well, I guess everyone's entitled to their opinion. Wink

It depends on the song, but they both have pretty cheesy vocals and lyrics, plus sometimes the music itself is.

I don't think so.  Maybe the lyrics, but I like them and they don't distract from the music and they fit in well.

but

1. everything is subjective

2. and you're a n00b.

3. and Swell Maps (experimental punk, what I'm listening to now) > Shub-Niggurath :D

4. Read 1 and then read 3 again and if you still don't get it, read 2 again.

He hasn't even heard Genesis.  Plus most of his obscure stuff doesn't exist.  Plus the stuff of it I have heard is, for the most part nothing special

in my slightly-enlightened opinion

Question: Why is he on the Symph team anyways? Symphonic Prog is so un-RIOConfused

Answer: It's so RIO to be on a team that is opposite of what people expect!

I think VdGG belong in symphonic prog more than any other subgenre, though.

I think VdGG are certainly more Symphonic Prog than people seem to believe, so I'm in agreement there.

My obscure RIO does exist 'cause Blowie listens to most of it too. LOL

And I do know some Genesis... stuff like Carpet Crawlers, I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe), The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway...
