But I'll play Red Barchetta instead. Dedicated to Roblov. Playing on an acoustic bass is kinda strange, but there isn't much to do when my own is in Uppsala.

You're describing PRR as well, Mike.

I don't think so. Maybe the lyrics, but I like them and they don't distract from the music and they fit in well. but 1. everything is subjective 2. and you're a n00b. 3. and Swell Maps (experimental punk, what I'm listening to now) > Shub-Niggurath :D 4. Read 1 and then read 3 again and if you still don't get it, read 2 again.

He hasn't even heard Genesis. Plus most of his obscure stuff doesn't exist. Plus the stuff of it I have heard is, for the most part nothing specialin my slightly-enlightened opinion

True. James should start listening to Genesis, especially since he's on the Symph team..

Question: Why is he on the Symph team anyways? Symphonic Prog is so un-RIO

Answer: It's so RIO to be on a team that is opposite of what people expect! I think VdGG belong in symphonic prog more than any other subgenre, though.

I think VdGG are certainly more Symphonic Prog than people seem to believe, so I'm in agreement there. My obscure RIO does exist 'cause Blowie listens to most of it too. And I do know some Genesis... stuff like Carpet Crawlers, I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe), The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway...

True.
And I even have RIO that James DOESN'T know of or have heard yet. How RIO is that?

Only the one. Selling Mikerinos by the Bright Ambassadors of Morning. I've seen The Watch live though and they were very good.
