I know that feeling. Been one or two points from 5s on three exams this year. No one to blame but me.

Weirdest thing was I got full marks for a history module I thought I did quite poorly this time. When I did it in January, I wrote a very good essay, and got 73% or so.

Ach, my classics stuff should have been so much better.

So much for productivity, but tomorrow I WILL translate a book of the Iliad, or die trying. My German is rusty...

I studied French. German is soooo barbaric. But go ahead and leave me here. Then I'll have to go back to evals. Can't say I'm in the mood.

Fine, fine, I'll stay.

Never did much French, myself. My German was alright, once. Italian I keep meaning to learn, and don't, but will. Mean to try to learn French some day, but not yet.

I'm gonna play Civ 4 later. It's been ages. Yup, as Carthage.

I have that game, but no computer on which it works. I sucked at it so badly.

My second favourite Crimson album, now, even if Lappy doesn't like it that much.

Hadn't realised how much I liked Salisbury until yesterday. The title track, despite brief bursts of epic cheese, is superb.

I always end up with my enemy either A) dead by 1500 AD, or B) beating me by 2000 or C) beating me at 2050, but I get the space race as a cop-out. I just don't have the attention span for it. Should try playing a limited number of turns for a change. When I get a new working computer of goodness.

I have this unnerving propensity for overrunning A) the Chinese and B) the Egyptians very quickly. Then I'm at a state of perpetual war with someone, and I win, or we reach the modern age and I don't know how to use anything..

I know. There's just too much to do and use then. I'm always irritated that you reach it so quickly, but if you lower game the game speed you're stuck in one age forever.
