It's oop I think... I've looked for a CD copy without luck yet.  I shall find one eventually.

A blog is the only way I know, unless eMusic or someone has it.

Who sings on National Health's "Elephant" from their debut? The voice is familiar but I just can't think of from where...

Amanda Parsons.

Is she on any other albums?

Backing vocals for Hatfield and the North.

Maybe that's where... I'm still not quite sure.

Amanda Parsons was one of the "Northettes", along with Ann Rosenthal and Barbara Gaskin, who sang on a number of Canterbury records (Egg's The Civil Surface, both Hatfield records) and Amanda lent vocals on some of the tracks on National Health's debut.

Incidentally, seeing as you like Jan Dukes de Grey and Comus, have you checked out Spirogyra?  It was Barbara Gaskin's old band.

It's a song by a Swedish light non-metal '70s/80s band. Wink

Couldn't have put it better. Wink

Not to mention, I hear it will be Metallica's new idea of a leitmotif piece, once the Unforgiven I-CCXXIII series eventually come to an end. Wink
