A poll that makes your mouth water. Used to enjoy both back in my younger days, but those damn Toaster Strudels are straight from pastry heaven.

I'll vote Pop Tart, but I only had Toaster Strudel once and it was burnt.

How can Toaster Strudel be Trademarked?
Strudel is an Austrian pastry style whilst a Toaster is a Toaster... |

Why in the hell did you start this thread?
Oh, OK, I'll go with the Toaster Strudel as I grew up with the Pop Tarts and I find them to be an improvement. But I can do without either of them thanks to my wife's home made muffins. |

I used to like Pop Tarts until I found out they had trans fat in them. Waiting for the day when Kellogg's will use their collective brain and finally eliminate that awful stuff from their products...

I don't know. Just felt like it. I've seen odder ones than this in the Just For Fun section. Didn't know it was going to get a few all bunched up. E |

You're not being goofy, the trademark absolutely exists. http://www.pillsbury.com/products/breakfast/frozen/Toaster-Strudel-Pastries.htm The combination of the two words probably allowed for the trademark. |

I'm in advertising, so I was just being goofy. Thanks for the clarification though, Pat.
How come I quickly regret starting a thread nowadays? E |

You just must be getting overly sensitive in your "old age". There's nothing wrong with a goofy poll from time to time. Heck, coming from me most of my "serious" polls end up being goofy. And in response to the poll I think that I have only had Toaster Streudels once or twice, and although they were quite good, I prefer pop tarts. Speaking of advertising, is there a better sponsorship match than Pop Tarts sponsoring American Idol?

I think I might enjoy a Toaster Strudel more. Haven't had either of these things in years.

Big reason why I don't eat them anymore. I've become a big label reader. E |

oh PopTarts big time.. the Toasster Strudel has inferior dough, the filling has a funny aftertaste, and they do get insanely hot.. PTs hold up better, and you can eat'em raw too.. try that with a Toaster Strudel
