Yeah, you can, but that doesn't tell me about your own perspective on subjective topics relating to Socal does it?

It depends, really on where you are at if you're talking about violence.
Like everywhere else, there are places, usually slums and lower socioeconomic places that are more crime ridden than others and usually the richer places are violent.
Yeah, I guess in some places I wouldn't feel safe going at night, but for the most part it's pretty safe.
I really haven't run into any problems and it seems that a lot of the times violence gets overblown.

If it seems like I'm disoriented it is because I really don't know how to answer that. Give me some time and I'll probably could write a paper on it.LOL

I lived here my whole life and I like it here. Climate is perfect, various environments(deserts, beaches, forests) are hours away.

My question was deliberately worded to be a pain in the assLOL
Always had a feeling American TV made out the US to be more violent than it really is.
I always forget, like where exactly you live in CaliforniaConfused

See that's the thing, I fell like we do have insane crime rates but it's not like a continuous war zone, but you do have to be carefull just like any other densely populated place.

I live in this area:

Actually, I live in Harbor City but spend most of the time in San Pedro.

Ahhh okay.
Yeah, I believe the murder rate is higher per 100 000 in the US than for Aus, and plus the US Of A-ers have a lot more personal guns on hand than Aus tooOuch
I've lived the same suburb my whole life, not a single murder case here ever until 2006OuchSome dude, about 50 odd years old, got run with a car down at the local shopping district over some argument with someone.

But then again, the crime rate is higher in some developing countries such as South Africa and India.
And you also run into the problems of statistics.

Not to mention the people there who visit PA.

What happened to people?????
Did TV kill IQ more than I thought it would?
Seems once you start talking beyond anything superficial now, kids just stare at you dumbly.
I hate it.
I hate it.

Clarification: The above is not a euphemism in any way, shape or form. Nor is it some sort of unsavoury or otherwise taboo activity.
