And personality wise, you both seem very positive and friendly! Thumbs%20Up

Well with the exception of me and Jake, that's true of pretty much all the RIO fans on the site.

Pretty much.

Aww!  You two have hearts of gold in there really, I expect. Wink

I played U Totem (s/t) earlier.  Another one that'll need more listening methinks...

The correlation coefficient between our playlists is very close to 1.  Almost spooky.

r=1 lol

Who could that be a reference too, I wonder....

I've mostly eliminated the douchebaggery from my posting, by pretty much limiting myself to this thread, the sports discussions, and the JFF stuff (mostly STC).

I blame James (is he on commission, d'you think?), and this thread. Wink

(I find Last.fm very temperamental.  A whole album I listened to earlier hasn't appeared at all... bizarre. Ouch)

Same here, pretty much, though I do post in a bit wider selection of threads.

@ Jake

@SoC, I don't know why everyone has troubles with last.fm.  It's almost always fine for me.

If you were into Canterbury as much as I am you could be my musical doppelganger.

Also, I need to listen to Weidorje a lot more often.

edit:  Hope Pnoom's suggestion or something like it can be implemented - this thread is probably dangerously close to the 4k threshold.

I still say in the meantime just stop the thread now and start a new one.  That way this thread stays.

Also, voice support for my idea and maybe it will be implemented.

It's ipod scrobbling that seems to be temperamental.  Normal listening works ok.

I've only got the one Canterbury album, and I think I'll save investigating more for the time being (as it could get expensive!)

Me to, je crois. Tongue

Well, I'm being given black looks and complained at to turn off the computer now, so no more witless rambling from me until tomorrow.  Sighs of relief all round. Wink

Do you use iScrobbler (mac) or iSproggler (PC)?

Make sure that before you play anything in itunes, you update your ipod.  This should eliminate any problems, so long as you make sure it's done updating before playing anything in itunes.

AIDS Wolf this year will release a new album RateYourMusic said.  Through Skin Graft I bet.

Satanized is something some of you should be interested.  Virtuosic guitar skillz (he's from Normal Love, come on), and tons of rock energy.

haha, looking at your last.fm - I'm playing Ahvak right now.  Wink

Your reviews are my recommendations
- keep 'em coming!  Tongue

Present keeps getting better with every listen, I'll be sure to check out their other works.

What, my opinionated ramblings...? LOL

I'm going to reserve any comment on Ahvak until I've heard it again - there's a lot going on in there!

James: haha, yes, I did hear the meow. Tongue  Even though it's only one moment, they should have credited the cat with guest vocals...

I'll get around to Shub-Niggurath one of these days... Smile

Meanwhile, I've got Univers Zero, 'Heresie' to look forward to tomorrow (might not have time to play it this evening - also, I don't want to have nightmares)... Shocked Wink

I though Shub Niggaruth's debut was just as dark as Heresie, but just in a different way I guess.
If Les Morts Vont Vite truly is darker than both of the aforementioned albums as James has told me, goddamn that would be seriously heavy stuff.
