Is there a way of adding a link to the forum main page that gives the option of viewing the newest posts since last login?
 
In the past I've found this quite useful.

That sounds line the "Active topics" link, unless I misunderstand.

I'm not sure, although I'm not certain what that "Active topics" link does. It seems similar, but what I'm getting at is:
 
After logging out, the system keeps track of any posts made between that time and the time until your next login and then gives you the option of having these 'new' posts listed.
 
One such forum I know of is the one on Lemon64.com. The notice there says: 'Powered by phpBB © 2001, 2005 phpBB Group', if that means anyting to you (it doesn't to me).
 
Anyway, it was just a question, no hassle.
