What happened?! For a short period of time I couldn't load the site. I got the message that the server couldn't be found.

If it is any help in tracking down the errors currently haunting the site, the problems today started sometime between 8 and 9 am EST. In the hours prior to that it all ran smooth as silk.

That's about when I started noticing them. We'd had some work done, and the &^%&%( workmen cut through our power cables, so I thought it could have been that - but I'm seeing it on the computer here too.

In my case is different and worst, I can't enter to any thread or even the search function, I had to open an old cookie to enter to a stored page in order to be accepted by the forum.
The same happens in the main section, I can't search for a band, open a genre or post a review

How nice of these errors to keep evolving for us, otherwise they'd be both boring and annoying.
And of course it's not like M@x has anything better to do than to spend all his time chasing down the gremlins. Maybe this site just needs a good exorcism: Edited by Slartibartfast - July 29 2008 at 18:21 |

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I don't have it so bad as yours, but the Search button for bands doesn't work to me also. And the Servive Unavailable, as many said, is appearing frequently. |

B_olariu, please leave some air to M@X this has been repeatedly reported by many members and you are complaining in every thread.-
Leave the man some time, he has to deal with this and has a real life also.
Check all the threads, report if there's something new, and wait.

Reporting specific error messages is probably useful for M@X, Ivan. It's a lot easier to fix a problem when you know what it is.
